Ladies Wine and Design Beirut
The Beirut chapter of the "salon" series under the name "Ladies, wine and design | Beirut", this is an initiative by Jessica Walsh (of Sagmeister and Walsh) with the aim to create the necessary but often missing spaces for women in design/business to share experiences, mentorship, stories, support. This stems from the model that women add value to the workforce yet experience it differently and accordingly need to share - and grow by doing so.
The initiative is about getting lady creatives (including the founder and a featured "leading designer") in a gathering over wine, creating a safe and intimate environment to share. This is usually 2 to 3 hours tops, capped at 7 people to allow for actual value exchange.
