جمعية عِرب للموسيقى العربية

تأسست جمعية عِرب لرفع مستوى الوعي بشأن التراث الموسيقيّ الغنيّ، ولكي تسدّ النقص الملفت في إنتاج الموسيقى الشرقية المعاصرة. وتهدف الجمعية إلى جمع الموسيقى من مختلف فئات المجتمع، من الهواة أو القطاع العام. وتعتمد في ذلك منهجية نقل الموسيقى من التسجيلات والاسطوانات إلى نسخ رقمية، وذلك عبر استخدام التكنولوجيا الحديثة. وبذلك تكون قد بنت أرشيفًا متاحًا للجمهور. كما تسعى الجمعية إلى تعزيز، ترويج وإنتاج الموسيقى الشرقية وتوزيعها. من خلال دعم الفنانين المحليين المعاصرين والإضاءة على أعمالهم، كما تعيد عِرب انتاج التسجيلات القديمة، وتسعى لجذب ذائقة الجمهور عبر حفلات فنيّة.

IRAB Association for Arabic Music

IRAB was founded in order to address the striking lack of awareness concerning the rich Oriental musical heritage and contemporary production of Oriental music. It aims to collect music from hobbyists and from the public sector. Its methodology of work is to compile these music records and migrate them to digital technology, thus building an archive and making it accessible to the public. In addition, IRAB works towards enhancing the promotion, production, and distribution of Oriental music, supporting contemporary local artists in their visibility, reproducing old records and engaging the public through concerts.

Association IRAB pour la Musique Arabe

L’association IRAB a été fondée dans le but de sensibiliser le public à la musique orientale contemporaine et de remédier au manque flagrant de production dans le secteur. IRAB rassemble et préserve le patrimoine musical issu du secteur public et privé et le numérise en vue de le rendre accessible à tous. L’association favorise l’accès du public au patrimoine musical du Moyen-Orient via la reproduction de disques de musique ancienne et la mise en place de concerts. IRAB soutient aussi la création musicale contemporaine dans la région en assurant sa promotion, sa production et sa distribution.
